Furukawa Industrial Machinery Systems Co., Ltd. was originally the machinery division, which was the mining equipment repair division, of Furukawa Co., Ltd. (formerly Furukawa Mining Co., Ltd.). The company was established in May 2004 with the full investment of Furukawa Industrial Machinery Systems Co., Ltd., and fully assumed the general industrial machinery business in March 2005. While entering a variety of fields and developing new products by applying its accumulated technologies, it continues to commercialize products one after another, and as a result, the company has become a self-reliant core business of the Furukawa Company Group with its integrated manufacturing and sales capabilities.
Furthermore, in April 2008, Furukawa Otsuka Co., Ltd. (former Otsuka Iron Works Co., Ltd.), which was founded 106 years ago, merged with our company. With the addition of new industrial machine products, such as crushers, grinders and briquetting machines based on abundant achievements accumulated over many years, excellent technology, and a solid track record from upstream to downstream, we have established systems that can provide more fulfilling services and equipment that are optimal for the requirements of our customers.
