Rikuzentakata city, Earth and sand transport equipment for earthquake reconstruction leveling work

Equipment overview

Our equipment crushed and transported 6.44 million square meters (equivalent to the size of five Tokyo Domes) of earth and sand generated during the cutting work at the hill relocation site in the Imaizumi area of Rikuzentakata city, Iwate prefecture. The Imaizumi area was built up to 45 meters above sea level (TP), and our high-capacity transport belt conveyors were used to raise the tsunami-affected city by about 12 meters.
